Mục tiêu: Điều tra cắt ngang được thực hiện trên 2375 trẻ tuổi từ 4-9 học tại một số trường mẫu giáo và trường tiểu học thuộc Quận Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội với mục tiêu là đánh giá tình trạng thừa cân, béo phì và đánh giá tình trạng rối loạn lipid máu, chế độ ăn và hoạt động thể lực trên 150 trẻ thừa cân, béo phì.

Phương pháp: Đối tượng được đo chiều cao, cân nặng, lấy máu tĩnh mạch để đo các chỉ số đường huyết, Cholesterol, Triglyceride, HDL-Cholesterol; LDL-Cholesterol; hỏi ghi khẩu phần và hoạt động thể lực.

Kết quả: Tỷ lệ thừa cân béo phì là 39,9% (tỷ lệ thừa cân là 21,9% và tỷ lệ béo phì là 18,0%); tỷ lệ thừa cân béo phì tăng dần theo lứa tuổi và học sinh nam có tỷ lệ cao hơn học sinh nữ. Tỷ lệ trẻ thừa cân béo phì có tăng cholesterol là 15,3%; tăng triglyceride là 30,7%; tăng LDL-cholesterol là 12,6% và giảm HDL-cholesterol là 5,3%. Tỷ lệ trẻ thừa cân béo phì có hoạt động tĩnh tại trên 120 phút/ngày là 82,7% và tỷ lệ trẻ thừa cân béo phì có năng lượng khẩu phần vượt trên mức nhu cầu khuyến nghị là 18,7%.

Kết luận: Tỷ lệ thừa cân béo phì của trẻ em 4-9 tuổi tại một số trường quận Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội là 39,9%; bên cạnh là các vấn đề rối loạn lipid máu, ít hoạt động thể lực ở những trẻ thừa cân, béo phì.

A cross sectional study was carried out at some kindergartens and primary school in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi aiming to assess the nutritional status (prevalence of overweight/obesity) among 2375 children of 4-9 years old, and to assess blood lipid disorders, dietary intake, and physical activities of 150 overweight/obese children. Method: Anthropometric indices (weight, height) and the levels of Cholesterol, Triglyceride, HDL-Cholesterol; LDL-Cholesterol of fasting blood samples were measured. Dietary intake and level of physical activities were collected by the questionnaires with recalling method. Results: Prevalence of overweight/obesity was 39.9% (overweight was 21.9% and obesity was 18.0%); these rates in higher in boys than in girls. The prevalence of high total cholesterol, high triglyceride, high LDL cholesterol, and low HDL cholesterol in overweight/obese children were 15.3%, 30.7%, 12.6% and 5.3%, respectively. The percentage of overweight/obese children with sedentary time >120 min/day was 82.7% and the percentage of overweight/obese children with energy intake higher than the recommendation was 18.7%. Conclusion: Prevalence of overweight/obese in children 4-9 years old at some schools in Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi was 39.9%; besides, there were the issues of the high lipid disorders and low level of physical activities among overweight/obese children.
