Norovirus là tác nhân hàng đầu gây bệnh tiêu chảy trên thế giới. Do các số liệu về tình hình nhiễm tạp Norovirus trong thực phẩm tại Việt Nam còn rất hạn chế, mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này là nhằm đánh giá tỷ lệ nhiễm tạp Norovirus trong hàu Thái Bình Dương (Crassostrea gigas) lưu hành trên địa bàn Hà Nội. Để đạt được mục tiêu này, 60 mẫu hàu được thu thập tại các chợ, siêu thị trong khoảng thời gian từ tháng 8/2013 đến tháng 5/2014 và được tiến hành phân tích theo tiêu chuẩn ISO/TS 15216-2:2013. Sau khi tối ưu hóa phản ứng Real-time RT-PCR và kiểm định độ nhạy của phương pháp, chúng tôi đã ứng dụng quy trình phân tích trên các mẫu hàu thu nhận được và phát hiện 8/60 mẫu (13,3%) dương tính với Norovirus GII. Tất cả các mẫu đều âm tính với Norovirus GI. Các kết quả này chỉ ra rằng tồn tại nguy cơ nhiễm tạp Norovirus trong hàu Thái Bình Dương ở nước ta và cần thiết phải tiến hành các biện pháp kiểm tra an toàn thực phẩm nhằm bảo vệ sức khỏe người tiêu dùng.

Norovirus is currently recognized as the leading cause of gastroenteritis worldwide. Due to limited data on the occurrence of this pathogen in foods in Vietnam, the objective of this study was to investigate the contamination prevalence of Norovirus in Pacific oysters (Crassostrea gigas) collected in markets in Hanoi. In order to achieve this objective, 60 oyster samples were collected at local and super markets in Hanoi during the period from August 2013 to May 2014 and analyzed for the contamination of Norovirus in accordance with ISO/TS 15216-2:2013 method. After optimization of Real-time RT-PCR and determination of assay sensitivity, we applied the optimized procedure to the oyster samples and found 8/60 samples (13.3%) positive with Norovirus GII. All samples were negative for Norovirus GI. These results indicated that there is a potential risk of contamination of Norovirus in Pacific oysters in Vietnam. Consequently, effective measures to control Norovirus contamination in foods are needed to protect consumers' health.
