Bài viết này giới thiệu tóm tắt những thách thức về vệ sinh an toàn thực phẩm và kiểm soát tại Việt Nam với thông tin cập nhật về tình hình hiện nay, bao gồm cả các xu hướng toàn cầu hóa, sự tăng tốc của ngộ độc thực phẩm và bệnh thực phẩm sinh ra, các vấn đề trong quản lý, sản xuất và lưu thông thực phẩm, sự kém hiểu biết về kiến thức và thực hành của người tiêu dùng về Vệ sinh an toàn thực phẩm.

This review article briefed the challenges of food hygiene and safety control in Vietnam with updates on the current situation, including the globalization trends, the acceleration of food poisoning and food-born diseases, issues in food production, management and circulation, poor knowledge and practice of consumers. The author also addressed the opportunities and recommendations to the improvement of the situation by legislation reinforcement, Government support, International support, local and system capacity building and scientific research.
