Nghiên cứu cắt ngang mô tả tình trạng dinh dưỡng (TTDD) của 255 người bệnh đái tháo đường type 2 từ 18 - 70 tuổi điều trị nội trú tại khoa dinh dưỡng lâm sàng & tiết chế, bệnh viện nội tiết trung ương. Kết quả: Tình trạng dinh dưỡng bình thường theo BMI chiếm tỷ lệ cao nhất là 62,0%; thừa cân-béo phì là 33,3%; thấp nhất là thiếu năng lượng trường diến, chiếm 4,7%. Tỷ lệ suy dinh dưỡng (SDD) theo vòng cánh tay chiếm 4,7%. Tình trạng dinh dưỡng bình thường theo phần trăm mỡ cơ thể chiếm tỷ lệ cao nhất là 58,9%; thừa cân-béo phì là 39,6%; thấp nhất là thiếu năng lượng trường diễn, chiếm 3,5%. Tỷ lệ người bệnh không có nguy cơ dinh dưỡng (SGA – A), nguy cơ dinh dưỡng mức độ vừa (SGA – B); nguy cơ dinh dưỡng mức độ nặng (SGA – C) lần lượt là 85,5%; 13,3% và 1,2%. Tỷ lệ đối tượng có vòng eo cao và tỷ số WHR cao là 59,2% và 75,7%.

A cross-sectional study was conducted to describe nutritional status of 255 people with type 2 diabetes mellitus, aged 18-70 years old, admitted for inpatient treatment at the clinical nutrition & dietary department, national hospital of endocrinology, 2020. The results showed that: Normal nutritional status according to BMI was accounted for the highest proportion of 62.0%; overweight-obesity was 33.3%; the lowest was the chronic energy deficiency, accounting for 4.7%. The rate of undernutrition using mid- upper arm circumference was accounted for 4.7%. The normal nutritional status in percentage of body fat was accounted for the highest percentage of 58.9%; overweight-obesity was 39.6%; the lowest was the chronic energy deficiency, accounting for 3.5%. Ratio of patients with no nutritional risk (SGA-A), moderate nutritional risk (SGA-B); the risk of severe nutrition (SGA-C) was 85.5%, 13.3% and 1.2%, respectively. The proportion of subjects with a high waist circumference and a high waist hip ratio (WHR) was 59.2% and 75.7%.
