Re: Enrollment for training course on "Clinical Nutrition - Treatment"

and training courses on "Nutrition Consultation", "Basic Nutrition"

                 To: Department of Health, Center for Preventive Medicine, Center for Reproductive Health Care, Hospitals of provinces and cities

In order to increasingly meet the needs of the Department of Health and hospitals in implementing and managing activities on Clinical Nutrition - Treatment, Nutrition Consultation, the National Institute of Nutrition has invited Japanese experts to help complete these training programs. The main purpose of these training programs is to update and integrate expertise and enhance practice at leading hospitals in clinical nutrition treatment and at nutrition and dietetics consulting facilities.

Purpose : To build and improve the effectiveness of clinical nutrition treatment and nutrition consultation in a practical manner at hospitals and medical examination and treatment facilities, contributing to the successful implementation of the National Nutrition Strategy for the period 2011 to 2020 and vision to 2030.

Content:   18 credits (30% theory, 70% practice) including  6  topics ( Basis for implementing nutrition training for hospitals, techniques, nutritional interventions, clinical nutrition - treatment, education, nutrition counseling and organization, management of hospital nutrition department ).

Training time and form:

 Course duration (expected): from August 20, 2018 to November 20, 2018  

 Location: Institute of Nutrition - 48B Tang Bat Ho - Hanoi

 Training form:

 1) Focus

 + In Hanoi:  5 weeks of theory at the Institute of Nutrition;  4 weeks of practice at Bach Mai Hospital, 4 weeks at Thanh Nhan Hospital, or at the clinic of the Institute of Nutrition, defend the project and take the final exam at the Institute of Nutrition. 

 + At the Department of Health or general hospitals of provinces/cities:  The Department of Health/general hospitals are responsible for the organization ( enrollment, theoretical and practical training facilities, etc. ). The Institute of Nutrition is responsible for professional quality ( teaching, practical guidance, testing, certification, etc. ). Provinces in need will recruit students from district hospitals in the province, each class will have about 30-40 students, then contact the officers listed below to organize the course.

Teaching staff:   Including experts in the fields of nutrition, therapeutic nutrition and food safety and hygiene working at the Institute of Nutrition and leading nutrition hospitals.

Certificate value:  The certificate is valid nationwide (code B19) and is recognized by the Ministry of Health according to Official Dispatch No. 3335/BYT-K2DT dated May 28, 2009. Depending on the student's working position (doctor, bachelor, college...), students will be granted corresponding certificates according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health.

Tuition for the entire 3-month course: 11,500,000 VND/student

Tuition fee for 1 month Basic Nutrition course: 4,500,000 VND/student

Registration documents include:  Copy of highest degree; Official dispatch of staff to study from the agency (if any); 02 3x4 photos.
