Hanoi, February 26, 2025, with the consensus of the Party Committee, the Institute's Board of Directors, and the Executive Committee of the Institute of Nutrition's Trade Union, the Institute of Nutrition organized a celebration ceremony and an emulation performance to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2025 ) .
Speaking at the Celebration Ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Duong, Director of the Institute of Nutrition, representing the Board of Directors, welcomed Vietnamese Doctors' Day and sent congratulations to all union members of the Institute of Nutrition ; at the same time, he hoped that the union members of the Institute, as civil servants and public employees in the health sector, would continue to strive to excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Health to the Institute as well as to the nutrition sector.
During the ceremony, comrade Tran Thanh Duong read a letter from Minister Dao Hong Lan congratulating the health sector on Vietnam Doctors' Day. The Minister of Health acknowledged and sincerely thanked the efforts and contributions of medical staff in the entire health sector, from preventive medicine to medical examination and treatment, drug and equipment supply, medical supplies, population work, professional capacity, scientific research level, all of which have made breakthrough developments, especially the increasingly tight institutional system, ensuring the deep and extensive development of the sector. Throughout the journey of striving and growing with the country, the health sector has made strong comprehensive developments, from activities in the grassroots health network to specialized hospitals at the central level .
On the occasion of Vietnamese Doctors' Day, the ceremony announced the decisions to commend collectives and individuals of the Institute of Nutrition. The Institute of Nutrition was honored to receive the decision to appoint Associate Professor of Medicine in Nutrition in 2024 for teacher Nguyen Trong Hung ; Decision to confer the title of Meritorious Physician to three doctors; Decision to award the People's Physician Medal to 6 comrades who have made many contributions to the cause of taking care of people's health ; Decision to award Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives and 3 individuals of the Institute of Nutrition who have made outstanding achievements in 2022 - 2023; Decision to award outstanding labor collectives to 11 collectives of the Institute of Nutrition who have made outstanding achievements in performing their tasks in 2023. Also at the ceremony, the Institute of Nutrition's grassroots Trade Union was honored to receive the Decision to commend the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Medical Trade Union in 2024, awarded to the trade union for its outstanding achievements and building a strong trade union.

With lyrics, singing, and dances praising the homeland, history, and fine traditions of the Vietnamese people ; about the Party, about Uncle Ho, about the career and role of the medical sector ; the art performance took place enthusiastically with the participation of 21 art performances from 185 union members of the Institute. In the performance, many performances were elaborately staged and achieved high scores in terms of expertise. The final results were 15 performances winning the Encouragement Prize, 05 performances winning the Third Prize, 03 performances winning the Second Prize, 01 performance winning the First Prize , 01 award for the audience's favorite, and 01 award from the art council. In which, the performance "Co Doi Thuong Ngan" by the union members of the Administrative Organization Department won the First Prize as judged by the Jury and won the award for the most favorite audience voted by the audience.

The choir performance "Mother loves children" by the Science Management Union achieved the highest score according to the professional assessment of the Art Council and won second prize at the Festival.

The ceremony and art performance of the Institute of Nutrition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 2025) ended with the sweet echoes of songs and the pride of the medical staff. Every medical staff always remembers beloved President Ho Chi Minh with pride and determination to strive to follow his teaching "A good doctor must be like a mother", always striving to improve professional skills and ethics to serve the Fatherland and serve the people. Building the Vietnamese medical sector to become more and more mature, doing better in the cause of protecting, caring for and improving people's health.
