On March 18, 2025, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Health held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Minister of Health on the reappointment of the position of Deputy Director in charge of economics of the Institute of Nutrition. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong, Deputy Minister of Health attended and presented the decision.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Leaders of a number of Departments, Bureaus, and Offices under the Ministry of Health, along with the entire Board of Directors, officers, civil servants, and employees of the Institute of Nutrition.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Minister of Health, Comrade Nguyen Hong Son, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the Ministry of Health, announced the Decision to re-appoint the position of Deputy Director in charge of economics of the Institute of Nutrition.

In Decision No. 818/QD-BYT dated March 7, 2025, the Minister of Health reappointed Dr. Nguyen Hong Truong to continue holding the position of Deputy Director in charge of economics of the Institute of Nutrition. The decision takes effect for 5 years from February 10, 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Health, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong, Deputy Minister of Health, congratulated the leaders, officials and employees of the Institute of Nutrition on completing the position of Deputy Director in charge of economics of the Institute. At the same time, congratulated comrade Nguyen Hong Truong personally on continuing to be trusted by the Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Health. After fully implementing the prescribed procedures, he was reappointed by the Minister of Health.

Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Lien Huong emphasized that Comrade Nguyen Hong Truong is a highly qualified official, passionate about the career of nutrition, always dedicated and responsible in his work. During the past term, he has made important contributions to scientific research, staff training, implementing community nutrition programs... especially in service development, caring for the lives of officials and employees of the Institute.

"Your re-appointment to the position of Deputy Director in charge of economics is not only a recognition of your personal efforts and contributions, but also demonstrates the trust of the leaders of the Ministry of Health as well as the Institute of Nutrition. I believe that with your experience, intelligence and enthusiasm, you will continue to promote your leadership role, closely coordinate with the Institute's Board of Directors and all staff to excellently complete the assigned tasks" - said the Deputy Minister of Health.

Deputy Minister of Health requested Comrade Nguyen Hong Truong to continue to devote all his enthusiasm and intelligence to the Institute's leadership to promote the spirit of solidarity, uphold responsibility, strive to fulfill assigned tasks, and build the Institute to develop more and more, worthy of being the leading Institute of Nutrition of the Ministry of Health.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Hong Truong, Deputy Director in charge of economics of the Institute of Nutrition, respectfully expressed his thanks to the Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Health, the Board of Directors of the Institute of Nutrition, the leaders of the departments/offices and all the officers and employees of the Institute for their trust, support and confidence in him personally. This trust is not only an honor but also a great responsibility for him.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Truong hopes to continue to receive the attention and close direction of the Party Committee, the leaders of the Ministry of Health, the close coordination of the leaders of the units and colleagues inside and outside the Institute. He also expressed that he will devote all his enthusiasm, determination and intelligence with the highest sense of responsibility to successfully complete the assigned tasks, making the Institute increasingly strong and developing, contributing to the cause of taking care of people's health of the health sector.
