Tóm tắt tiếng Việt: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang từ tháng 7 năm 2019 đến tháng 5 năm 2020 trên 221 người bệnh lao phổi tại Khoa lao hô hấp, Bệnh viện Phổi TW năm 2019-2020 nhằm mô tả tình trạng dinh dưỡng (TTDD) của người bệnh trước khi nhập viện. Kết quả cho thấy: Theo chỉ số khối cơ thể (BMI) có 45,8% người bệnh suy dinh dưỡng (SDD); 44,2% bình thường; 10,0% thừa cân-béo phì. Theo đánh giá bằng phương pháp chu vi vòng cánh tay (MUAC) có 60,2% người bệnh suy dinh dưỡng và 39,8% người bệnh bình thường.

English summary: A cross – sectional study of 221 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis at the Respira – tory Tuberculosis Department, National Lung Hospital in 2019 – 2020 was conducted to describe nutritional status of the patient before admission. The results showed that according to the body mass index (BMI), 45.8% of the patients were undernourished; 44.2% were normal; and 10.0% were overweight – obese. According to the evaluation by mid – upper arm circumference (MUAC), 60.2% of the patients were malnourished and 39.8% were normal.
