Để đánh giá hiệu quả của giáo dục sức khỏe lên tình trạng tái nhiễm giun và phát triển thể lực của học sinh tiểu học nông thôn, nghiên cứu được thực hiện trên 25 trường tiểu học của Hà Nam, áp dụng mô hình nghiên cứu “thử nghiệm can thiệp ngầu nhiên có đối chứng”. Kết quả cho thấy: Giáo dục sức khỏe đã có hiệu quả rõ rệt lên việc nâng cao kiến thức và thay đổi hành vi có lợi cho phòng chống nhiễm giun, do đó cải thiện rõ rệt tình trạng tái nhiễm giun ở trẻ tiểu học; Chưa thấy rõ sự cải thiện tình trạng dinh dưỡng của trẻ sau 6 tháng can thiệp. Các kết quả cũng gợi ý rằng: cần có thêm thời gian duy trì các biện pháp can thiệp để đánh giá chính xác hiệu quả.
In order to evaluate the effectiveness of heath education on re-infection with intestinal worms and physical growth among primary school children in rural areas, a study was carried out in 25 primary school of Ha Nam province, using design of "randomized controlled intervention trial”. Obtained results showed a remarkable effectiveness of heath education on the improvement of knowledge and the change of behavior in prevention and control of intestinal worm infection, and as the results, re-infection was reduced remarkably; The positive effect of the intervention on improvement of nutritional status of children after 6 months has not found, yet; The observed results suggest-ed that it is needed to have more time for intervention so that the nutrition status could be improved.
