Kết quả nghiên cứu trên 992 sĩ quan cấp tá của Quân chủng phòng không – không quân (PK-KQ) tháng 9 năm 2007 cho thấy: Tỷ lệ thừa cân béo phì là 55,8%, nam có tỷ lệ TCBP cao hơn nữ. Tỷ số VE/VM > 0,90 ở nam là 34,3%, tỷ số VE/VM > 0,85 ở nữ là 30,7%. Tỷ lệ rối loạn lipid máu ở nam cao hơn nữ: Cholesterol ≥ 5,2 mmol/l: nam là 49,8% và nữ là 37,9%; Triglycerid ≥ 1,7 mmol/l: nam là 67,1% và nữ là 32,5%; HDL-C ≤ 1,03 mmol/l: nam là 32,1%, HDL-C ≤ 1,28 mmol/l: nữ là 27,7%; LDL-C ≥ 3,34 mmol/l: nam là 28,0%, nữ là 23,2%.
A cross sectional study in 992 high-ranking officers of Antiaircraft- Air Force Arm in September 2007 showed that: The rate of overweight and obesity was 55.8%. The rate of overweight-obesity of men was higher than women. Waist/ Hip ratio (WHR) > 0.90 of men was 34.3%, (WHR) > 0.85 of women was 30.7%. The rate of dyslipidemia in men was higher than in women: Cholesterol ≥ 5.2 mmol/l in men was 49.8%, of women was 37.9%. Triglyceride ≥1.7 mmol/l in men was 67.1%, in women was 32.5%. HDL-C ≤ 1.03 mmol/l of men was 32.1%, HDL-C ≤ 1.28 mmol/l in women was 27.7%. LDL-C≥ 3.34 mmol/l in men was 28.0%, in women is 23.2%.
