On February 17, 2025, at its headquarters in Michigan, USA, Amway Corporation - the leading healthcare brand that helps people live better, healthier lives - announced a strategic partnership with the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) and Nutrilite Health Institute (NHI) to improve public health. This partnership marks a pivotal step for Amway in improving the quality of nutrition research, promoting professional exchange and finding optimal solutions, especially in Vietnam.

 

According to the National Nutrition Strategy for the period 2021 - 2030 and vision to 2045, all people have the right to equitable access to nutrition and food to achieve optimal nutritional status, contributing to improving health. The National Nutrition Strategy also emphasizes: The task of basic research and scientific and technological research on nutrition and food suitable for Vietnamese people as well as strengthening communication and nutrition education. All of these tasks aim to improve nutritional status suitable for each subject, locality, region, and ethnicity, contributing to reducing the burden of disease, improving the stature, physical strength and intelligence of Vietnamese people.

 

In light of this reality, the cooperation between NIN and NHI aims to leverage each other’s strengths to jointly address the nutrition issues that Vietnam is facing. This collaboration demonstrates the commitment of both parties to working together for public health.

 

The announcement of the international cooperation between the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) and the Nutrilite Health Institute (NHI) took place at Amway's headquarters in the United States.

This cooperation is part of Amway’s “Live Healthy, Live Happy” Strategy. At the signing ceremony, the two sides agreed to cooperate closely with specific focuses:

1. In the field of scientific research: Coordinate research on nutritional habits, nutritional components in food and research on nutritional supplements for target groups in the community. 

 

2. In communicating and disseminating knowledge about nutrition: Develop communication programs to raise public awareness, encourage proactive healthy lifestyles, and aim to build a healthier and happier life for the community.

 

NHI has the strength of international experts from around the world in nutritional science from academia and the medical industry. With many years of experience in researching and developing high-quality nutritional products, NHI accompanies NIN to provide appropriate nutritional solutions for the Vietnamese people.

 

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Tran Thanh Duong - Director of the National Institute of Nutrition said: "This international cooperation will take advantage of the strengths of both sides in advanced technology and local knowledge to promote deeper and more sustainable research. We believe that this cooperation will contribute positively to improving people's nutritional situation and improving their quality of life."
