Purpose: The study aims to assess the lipid nutritional status of patients with hepatitis. Methods: A prospective, cross-sectional study was conducted through interviews, weight and height measurements of 124 inpatient hepatitis patients in General Internal Medicine Department, General Hospital, Thai Binh City in 2017.
Total 120 high risk food samples including of fermented meat products, cooked entrails and vegetables eaten raw served at ambient temperature in Hanoi market were examined for microbiological quality. In general, 100% of processed meat were high aerobic plate counts, 80% were high coliform contaminated and exceeding, the bacterial standard.

A cross-sectional study on bacterial contamination of cooked foods available in the canteens of kindergartens in Hadong town was carried out from October 2005 to January 2006. A total of 144 boiled water and cooker food samples collected from 12 canteens were examined for selected microbiological parameters of the Decision No.867/1998/QD-BYT issued by the Minister of Health on hygienic standards.

Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study on 92 women with BMI > 23kg/m2 from 45-60 years old in Hanoi 2016. Results: The prevalence of metabolic syndrome in women with BMI > 23kg/m2 aged 40-65 years old in Hanoi in 2016 was 62%.

The aim of this research is to study the antimutagenic activity of sticky rice cooked with various fruits vegetables and legumes. Fruits and vegetables rich in carotenoids including ivy gourd leaves, the fruit from Momordica cochinchinensis and pumpkin, two kind of legumes – mungbean and black bean – and sticky rice colored by being cooked with these fruits, vegetables and legumes were sequentially extracted with n-hexane and 80% ethanol.

This article aims to introduce the present knowledge on the role of sprinkles in control of child micronutrient deficiency and malnutrition.
